Machines
What is vibratory finishing?
Parts and finishing media are loaded together into a PU-lined bowl. The bowl vibrates, so the media rubs against every surface of the parts, removing burrs, rust and scale, rounding sharp edges, and smoothing or brightening the surface. Water and a finishing compound keep the parts clean during the cycle.
Which machine size do I need?
It depends on the size of your parts and how many you need to finish per day. Our standard vibratory machines run from 40 to 900 litres, separation machines up to 1,200 litres, and we build other sizes to order. Send us your part details or a sample and we'll recommend a size.
What's the difference between vibratory and centrifugal finishing?
Vibratory machines suit most parts and larger batches. Centrifugal machines use high-energy rotating barrels, so they finish small and delicate parts faster, and suit jobs that take too long in a vibratory bowl.
Why choose a machine with separation?
A separation machine has a built-in screen deck. At the end of the cycle, parts move across the deck and out of the machine while the media falls back into the bowl, so you don't sort parts from media by hand.
Can you trial my parts before I buy?
Yes. Send us a few samples with the finish you need. We test media, compound and cycle time and send you the results.
Do you install the machine and train our team?
Yes. We commission every machine at your plant and train your operators to run it.
Media and compounds
Which media should I use?
It depends on the material and the finish. Ceramic media is used for fast deburring and descaling of steel parts, plastic media for aluminium, brass and soft metals, porcelain for fine finishing, steel media for burnishing, and drying media to dry parts after finishing. We'll recommend the right type, shape and size for your parts.
Do you supply media for machines you didn't build?
Yes. Media and compounds work in any vibratory or centrifugal machine. Tell us your machine and parts, and we'll match the media.
How often does media need topping up?
Media slowly wears down with use, so it needs regular top-ups. How often depends on the media type and how many hours the machine runs. Existing customers can reorder on WhatsApp.
Repairs, relining and spares
Can you repair or reline a machine you didn't build?
Yes. We reline, repair and service vibratory and centrifugal machines from other makers as well as our own.
How do I know if my machine needs relining?
Common signs are cracks or holes in the lining, exposed metal, parts getting damaged or marked, and finishing taking longer than it used to. Send us a photo of the inside of the bowl and we'll tell you what it needs.
Do you keep spare parts in stock?
We supply PU liners and bowls, motors and bearings, springs and dampers, PU bushes and floppers, and control panels. Send us the machine model or a photo of the part and we'll confirm fit before sending.
Quotes and orders
How do I get a quote?
Use the enquiry form, WhatsApp us or call. A photo of the part or the machine, with sizes and quantities, helps us quote faster.
Still have a question?
WhatsApp us or send an enquiry. A photo of your part or machine helps.
